Jr. Mod Lite
Rules are effective immediately
In
an effort to continue with our goal of providing divisions of racing that are both competitive and cost efficient, the management
of DMP feel the following class rules are necessary.
1. All cars will conform to TUSA Mod-Lite Specifications
2. Race Car Eligibility
a. All cars competing in this division will be produced by Pro
Race Cars, which includes all models of Pro, Bandit, DXS, DXL, DXT, and all Pro Lightning cars. Any car competing prior to
the 2008 season that does not meet the criteria can be grandfathered in by the DMP Tech Director.
b. All componenets must be Pro OEM or be approved by the DMP Tech Director.
c. No exchange lightweight
components allowed including titanium or carbon fiber.
d. Any suspension reconfiguration
must be approved by the DMP Tech Director.
e. Only Bilstein or Pro, non adjustable steel
shocks are allowed. Shocks may not be the type that can be disassembled for valving changes.
3. Engines
a. Only 2001-2005 Suzuki GSXR 600 cc engines allowed. Engines must be stock and unaltered with stock air filter.
b. If the engine is disassembled for any reason, it must go through a complete tech program. Head
and oil pan will be removed to identify internal parts.
c. All engines will be sealed and recorded
by the DMP Tech Director.
d. The owner of the engine will pay any and all expenses incurred
for the tech process.
e. There will be a minimum charge of $100 to tech and seal any engine
before it can compete.
4. Tires
a. 205 TUSA plated tires on LF, RF, and LR of car.
b. 215 TUSA plated tires on the RR
c. Any TUSA (soft, medium or hard) compound is permitted,
but tire must be TUSA plated.
5. Wheels
a. Steel, 7" wheels only
b. Bead-locks are allowed
6. Age Requirements
a. 10-16 year of age.

a. Approved Fire Suit
b. Approved Racing Gloves
c. Approved minimum Snell Approved 2000 helmet, no "M" helmets
d. Approved Head and Neck Restraint System
e. Approved racing shoes
f. It is recommended that fire retardant underwear and a fire retardant head sock be worn.
